LIMITED EDITION 21: DOUBLE IPA

It’s almost two years since our last Double IPA, so we thought it was high time for another. We used twice as much malt as we would for a pale ale and that gives this beer a deep, sweet, and complex body. We’ve made sure to match the sweetness with a lot of hops though, both in the whirlpool and through generous dry-hopping. This beer has everything you’d expect from an IPA, but turned up even higher and with a touch of alcohol warmth to the finish – perfect for the colder months.

Tasting Notes

You can expect notes of tangerine, resin, pine, and tropical fruits such as pineapple both in the aroma and in the flavour.

Great with salty or cured meats and charcuterie as well as rare beef or meat with BBQ sauce. Try it with blue cheese or even salted caramel ice cream.
